Hi, my name is Louis, I have been leading teams for one of Auckland's most reputable roofing company for 8 years before recently starting Duck Roofing.
We are based in Browns Bay on Auckland's North Shore and specialise in long-run metal roofing (new roofs and roof replacements). Small to medium jobs suit our small team the best.

Grey Lynn Villa Reroof

We did a full roof replacement in 0.55mm Colorsteel Gull Grey for this beautiful Grey Lynn villa. Future peace of mind and massive street appeal improvement. We removed the ugly, non-original concrete chimney, replaced all damaged purlins, and screwed all purlins to the rafter's. We only use synthetic underlay (much more durable than bituminous), and Bremick roof screws (best out there). All flashings and ridging are Colorsteel Maxx (marine grade).

Pioneer Red Roof and gutters

Full roof and gutter replacement with 0.55mm Colorsteel. Flashings, ridging and gutters are Corlorsteel Maxx (marine grade). Any damaged purlins have been replaced, all purlins have been screwed to the rafters and we even added some missing insulation. The house was feeling damp and had mould issues which were resolved with the new, leak free roof.

HillCrest Roof Replacement

New Colorsteel (FlaxPod) roof for this Hillcrest renovation. We completed this job for another roofing company that installed the roof sheets. We designed and installed the flashings and ridge caps. We worked with the architect to come up with the best solution for the intersection between the two roofs. We proposed and implemented an alternative design that minimised the amount of sealed laps for better durability and aesthetics.

I'm really impressed with the whole job. We were given a clear and detailed quote that outlined our options and any variables that might come up after removing the old roof.
