The Project Management Collective Limited is operated by Richard Bate who is an accomplished project leader with wide-ranging experience in managing the full lifecycle of project delivery. For over 20 years he has amassed local and international experience delivering commercial, residential and educational design, construction and redevelopment projects.
Richard has also contracted to or been employed by a wide range of project consulting organizations including from Nakheel Retail in Dubai, Coffey Projects, TSA Management, RDT Pacific and WT Partnership in Auckland, and QIC and Lendlease Property Management in Queensland. In Government roles he worked for Housing New Zealand, also contracting to the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Justice Capital Works Teams. Richard has experience with the New Zealand Correction Department at Auckland Maximum Security Prison.
He specializes in fixing buildings with weathertight issues, seismic upgrades and ensuring they achieve a full statutory compliance. He enjoy complex building issues and works towards achieving the most cost effective and compliant cost for the client.
He has extensive commercial relationships with the appropriate consultants needed to be gathered to deliver a building project and can quickly put together project teams for working through the design, Council consenting to eventual compliant construction.
