Project wrapped up at this luxury home in Omaha. The open-plan kitchen creates a perfect space for entertaining — and building those exposed rafters was a rewarding challenge!

Another glimpse of our Omaha new build — vertical shiplap cedar cladding with dark Ironsand-tinted negative detail for a sharp, modern finish. Topped off with a statement Kwila deck.

Puhoi deck we completed at the end of last year — how’s that view? We used Fijian Mahogany decking to tie in with the existing macrocarpa accents throughout the property.

Standing frames at our new build in Whangaripo. We chose LVL 4x2 framing on this one for straighter, more stable walls — less twisting and bowing means a better finish and fewer lining issues down the track.

Vitex deck wrapped up for a local home building company — this one finished in Vitex hardwood for a clean, natural look with great durability.

Using our small tight-access machine to dig in behind this block wall and install waterproofing and drainage to fix a flooded minor dwelling. For this job, we squeezed through two 900mm gates — not every project is glamorous, but sometimes playing in the

Large pool cut completed for a client — this one was a tricky dig, with sloped perimeter footings and 3-metre-deep cages drilled into solid ground.

Small retaining wall constructed — believe it or not, these poles are embedded over 2.5 metres deep, as specified by the engineer, due to the nearby road creating additional load on the wall.

Architecturally designed pole shed going up — from site cut to concrete pour to joinery install, this project is a great showcase of our full capability across building and earthworks.

The job was urgent with a very narrow time frame: the job was reviewed and quoted with a site visit within a day, and the removal of clay and post holes dug for a new fence were all done the next business day. Everyone in the team was very friendly, efficient and patient with all my questions. I can highly recommend this company and team.

We had a fantastic experience with Great Northern Construction Limited. Klay did an outstanding job regibbing our laundry during the renovation and reinstalling the scotias with real care and precision. The finish looks sharp and tidy — exactly what you want in a smaller space where every detail shows. He also took the initiative to organise the plastering, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free for us. Great communication, reliable, and clearly takes pride in his work. The team did an amazing job at my Orewa property, completing a deck, fence, and bathroom renovation. The whole process was seamless and stress-free, from planning through to the finished result. They were punctual, professional, efficient, and very respectful throughout. I was so impressed with their work that we’re already in discussions for a larger project.
