I am a Chartered Professional Engineer with over 20 years’ experience in structural engineering, working across a wide range of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. My experience includes structural assessments, earthquake damage assessments, alterations and strengthening of existing buildings, and the structural design of new buildings and other structures.
I established PN Consulting Ltd in 2019 to provide clients with practical, responsive, and personalised structural engineering services. I work directly with homeowners, builders, architects, developers, and other professionals, with a strong focus on clear communication, sensible and buildable solutions, timely turnaround, and fair fees.
As a small consultancy, clients deal directly with the engineer responsible for their project from start to finish. I also have a practical interest in construction outside engineering and am a keen DIY woodworker, which helps me approach design with an appreciation of how things are actually put together on site.
