As we know within the Trades Sector, the Construction business has been on a Decline since Covid... Alot of us Lost our jobs due to the Vaccination process, and I don't blame Employers for their decisions they had to make,. But it became hard to then find employment with other companies nation wide because of that fact, so I nearly packed it all in,.. but I've been told by past Employers and Clientele that my skill set is just to great to be let go of, to be just washed away and let go to waste and to push through and overcome.!! So, out of the Ashes of Covid, I formed TSKJ Decorators, TSKJ being the 1st letters of my Children... 1st few years as a sole trader, then started my own Limited Company last year. And now my Children are soon too follow into the fields of Construction,.. My Son Tyler is at Uni studying Architecture/Engineering, My 2nd eldest Son Shylin Wiremu starts his Building Apprenticeship this year 2026, Kaea my eldest Daughter will be a very successful Interior Designer, as my youngest Daughter Jordan who's still in school loves Machines so we're looking at Heavy Machinery, Tracks n Rollers, Trucks, Diggers, Earth moving machinery, Landscape Design, or Crane Operator, etc.... and this is to be continued.. and out of this idea is to build something great for our Generations to come, A Family in Construction... . I have over 30 yrs of experience plus extensive Knowledge of materials in both Commercial and Residential contracts, and yes both are very different ethic wise, one leaves you more stressed then the other. But over all is rewarding in the same. In saying that my attraction to painting is that it's more then just a job, it's been my passion and still is, very therapeutic in a sense and I love to problem solve, and most gratifying when the projects complete and im about to walk away from any Project.... My Clients are grateful, they're happy, and it's then they know, they had picked the right Tradesperson for their project and my hearts content and at peace knowing I done the job to the best of my ability and I always come above and beyond of what's required of me, and seeing my clients gratitude and smiles, now that's worth more to me then the money... Im Highly recommended from previous clients of my Trades requirements to fulfill given tasks, work ethic unmatched, communication above excellent, and time management is most important to me as well as a very clean and tidy workplace at the end of every day .... My sons have been on various Residential and Commercial jobs with me over the years and are excellent alongside what I do..!! But they don't see the point in doing Painting when we can bring something greater to the table as a Family...... This is all in the making of something great, and I'm very happy to say that you too will have a part in this for our Generations to come..
