I don't usually write negative reviews but I feel I have to in this case. We had Sharp Glass replace a window at our premises and asked them to match the individual pane with the existing windows. The results in the attached photo speak for themselves. They then refused to remedy the work and were very uncooperative and belittling on the phone saying "it'll only look like that for a few hours a day, you're just going to have to live with it" and claimed "it's the best we can do". We had to get another provider to replace their work. They are now taking us to small claims court seeking payment for this substandard work that we had to get replaced. We highly recommend Winstone Glass's work though. They provided a perfect match. You should definitely use them instead. Reply: Thanks for your review Andrew. This matter has now been settled through the disputes tribunal, at our request. We acknowledge that in your case the glass we replaced with was not a good match for tint. At Sharp Glass we strive to be the best reglazing business, which is not to say we don't make mistakes but that if we do, we will everything we can to make it right. In this case the opportunity to do this was refused by you and the tribunal found in our favour because of this. After which time we could have pursued full payment but instead we offered a 50% reduction of the invoiced costs as a show of goodwill for the inconvenience incurred. Exercise caution if you are to use this outfit. They were quick to respond to our query and gave us an upfront price which was the basis on which we allocated the job - but otherwise we experienced diappointing service, disappointing results and hidden costs. We would not use these guys again and have informed our insurer of the same.
