We've been providing construction services for the past 32 years. We work all over Auckland. While we specialize in major renovations and additions, we also do smaller projects. Please see the majority scope of our work under the photo section in the description sections. Every project and client is important. We see ourselves as a professional team and work hard to meet deadlines for project completion. We pride ourselves on providing competitive Quotations that are drafted by a qualified estimator, which will ensure pricing provided to you is detailed and accurate. This will help us to complete the project on budget. There isn't much we can't do after 30 years, but we also believe keeping within a specialised area of work will allow us to excel in what we do. Our field is broader than most other contractors because of our experience working within 3 countries to date. We provide turn key projects if needed and can also just do Project Management on site if needed. if needed. We offer extended services as part of our teams qualifications, being architects, structural engineers, geotech engineers and council services and more, so you can just sit back while we take care of everything. Our office is there to assist clients and our teams on site and to ensure we provide the best service to you. We keep H&S, QC, Insurance and all the other linked aspects in mind when we execute projects. We deliver our work to the highest standards and sub-quality work from our team is not tolerated. We are a happy team, that puts the client first and always work with intergity, honesty and a positive outlook and are very good problem solvers, so whatever the challange, bring it on-we cant wait! Irne has been my go to company for repairs and refurbishments for the last 3 years. Jobs were always well priced and completed within the timeframe. Reply: Hi Magda, i think we've lost count on the calls we’ve received to date from you, but it’s been an absolute pleasure to be off assistance the last few years! We have a few clients like yourself that keep on knocking for this or that and please feel free to keep on doing so! I hope you were able to match the paintwork you wanted to do yourself on those few wall repairs since our last visit and Irne says he should send you some photos of a job we have done in St Heliers, also a client that keeps on returning, but he has done some planter/flower boxes recently for her and you would probably love them, being a gardener yourself! The Retro team has done some interior renovations for us. Although it wasnt a large project, consisting mainly of painting, carpets and repairs the team was efficient timewise and the the detailed Quote provided seemed to have ensured that no extras had to be charged for afterwards. It was also a good experience dealing with them, very friendly and hardworking people. The office seemed to provide good support to the team whenever it was needed. I am happy to recommend! Reply: Hi Lizelle, I’ll be honest and say that most of your work we mainly project managed and as you didn’t have any structural changes that needed doing, (so we didn’t provide a turnkey project in your case with add-ons like the Building Consent, Drawings, obtaining Engineering/Geotech reports, etc. for your project), but nevertheless the end result was amazing! You said you will be moving as a family soon to a bigger, but probably older property, that may need renovating again. Keep in mind that we specialise in structural repairs and would love to asisst again, even if its a turnkey project this time. Appreciate the detailed review and hope you are keeping well! Mr Grobler coverted our garage to a granny flat a few years ago.The amazing part was it didn't look like a flat at all once done. He used high end finishes and even now, most days i still consider living there instead of in my house. I always receive compliments when someone views it and i never struggle to rent it out when it goes open. Happy to share photos to anyone who pm me, so i can brag. 😂The project was done within a reasonable budget and at a good speed too. Engela. Reply: Hi Engela, thanks for your review. Although this work has been done years back, I remember seeing the photos and agree I was "shocked" myself to see what a great design came out of this garage conversion. I honestly thought a person would probably put the bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and lounge each in its own corner and that is what you could do with a garage conversion, but Irne really has an eye for designs! It looked like a full home inside that garage, even creating a hallway that led to the main bedroom with an on-suite bathroom, that was accessible from the lounge too for visitors was an amazing plan, and a separate dressing room and powder counter that could help you with storage too, was all things that was well planned out. Adding the sliding door to the side of the building (and one at the front, let’s call that the back door), gave the little unit a view over the main houses pool, so there was nothing more any retiree could ask for I would believe! The added parking to the side of the main driveway became a very practical space, when arriving with some shopping items as that was close to the back door. I just loved that unit's design, and the high-end finishes will make it a lovely place to stay in when the day comes for your to retire and rent the main house out. We haven’t heard from you in years, but hope you are keeping healthy and well!
