Hi, my name is Philip. I am a Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) with extensive experience in renovating and repairing houses since 2003. My passion lies in transforming older homes and making the old look new again. After many years working on large and complex renovations, I now prefer to focus on smaller jobs that I truly enjoy. These projects allow me to connect more closely with clients and provide the personal touch that makes a real difference in their homes.
I specialise in smaller renovations, such as updating kitchens and bathrooms, plastering, and a wide range of general home maintenance repairs. I have a particular expertise in working with older houses and enjoy collaborating closely with customers to bring their visions to life.

If your project requires additional coordination, I am happy to assist with project management. I also have established contacts with reliable subcontractors to help ensure that every aspect of your renovation is handled smoothly. I am equally happy to consider any smaller jobs you may have.
Throughout my years in business, I have completed numerous renovations and built strong relationships with long-term customers. My work includes managing repairs and upgrades on rental properties. In 2021, I completed a four-year project as the Lead Contractor, refurbishing a substantial 1930s bungalow with a new extension. This project was recognised as the first passive house low energy refurbishment in New Zealand.
