STAY AWAY!! We'd agreed with Amit to do our kitchen floor & tiling. Job & wood was discussed in detail, quote accepted & 1 months notice of the start date given. I'd asked Amit about a deposit to order the wood, which was paid. Due date comes - no Amit, no work. Excuse after excuse followed & he continuously let us down. He put our kitchen reno back 2 weeks & cost us a lot more having to move other tradies around. He won't return our deposit, I am lodging a claim with the courts on Monday.

Fraudster, stay clear! Amit kept on pushing agreed start date back and demanded I pay deposit to secure a new date which I foolishly did. Did not show up and no communication when new agreed start date came. Had to chase and Amit told me he had a machine damaged. Hence I had to wait 2 more weeks but he would transfer deposit back. Has not done so for 4 weeks and has not responded to emails for txt messages since. Claim will be laid with the courts.

Amit failed to start the job . Was supposed to come on Wednesday 3rd June at 9:30, he then pushed back to the afternoon. Locked his keys in van so agreed Thursday morning. He wanted to push back again but came and we discussed work. Said he would come back in afternoon to do but has not been back and does not return call and text. I had painter on site as well so he has delayed him. Very unprofessional. I have lost 4-5 hrs of my time with this situation & nothing has been done.
