Projects

Karori Extension and Restoration

This house had been abandoned for 25 years when we arrived on site. We tore down the existing lean to and got to work. A 100m2 extension was added on the back, all kept in period style. We redid all decorative timber elements including gable scalloped features, corbel blocks, finials window fret work. We added these features to all the new parts of the house too. We managed to save the existing double hung windows and double glazed them on site. We then gave the interior and complete work over, including rearranging walls to achieve the most functional layout possible.

Karori Renovation

A major renovation we completed in Karori. Tasks included removing internal walls and creating a new open space for kitchen and living. A new bathroom, laundry and office. A large amount of reclad timber weatherboards. A new expansive deck. New timber windows and doors. Converting a cave like basement area into a seperate dwelling for guests, and a large section of landscaping. We laid all the flooring and made custom timber bench tops and floating vanity slabs. We machined all the existing skirting and architraves on site and reinstalled it along with some brand new timber we machined to match. We also did all the tiling work in both kitchens. We supplied and installed the smaller kitchen, while “Kitchen Elements” installed the main kitchen. Our work on this job was extensive, for more photos, check out our website.
