Remove wallpaper and prepare for paint

Wallpaper Hanging & Removal Masterton, Masterton

1.0

My experience was one i do not wish upon anyone. The job was not completed as per quote provided, I asked for the wallpaper to be removed which they did not do instead they just plastered over top and left lounge in a absolute mess. They also went into the garage which they did not need to access and took a whole lot of painting equipment which was not theres, they took the most of it resulting in more having to be purchased before the painting could be started. No effort has been made to resolv

Building/ extending retaining wall

Landscape Retaining Walls (Below 1.5m) Island Bay, Wellington

1.0

Failed to complete the job in the agreed time frame (Expected duration was 5 days, job went on 5 weeks with only half the work completed) Workmanship not adequate, and parts of job not fit for purpose. Details and finishes were not constructed as agreed. Communication very poor. We foolishly made an advance payment (in good faith) for additional materials, which never turned up. We have asked for the funds to be returned but the contractor is not returning calls.

Lawn/Garden rejuvenation

General Landscaping Featherston, South Wairarapa

3.0

Happy with the work Hem and the crew have carried out. Really appreciated the can do attitude and listening to my concerns/answering my questions (and generally putting up with me being a typical needy client!!). New garden looks great and has really made a huge difference.

Te Moana Rd Porteous

House Painting (exterior) Waikanae Beach, Kapiti Coast

3.0

Because of lockdown I have been unable to visit the site to see the finished job myself. Our builder has however seen the work and reported favourably to me. The comms between the office of the lead company and its subbies was tiresomely poor and it took a lot of our time and patience to achieve a clear and concise description of the work. Even then the painters on the job did not follow the spec and completely omitted to paint two doors in the colour specified. This was later rectified .
