About

Hi, I'm a licensed builder with over 20 years of experience in new builds, villa renovations, and townhouse developments. While our main focus has been full renovations and new homes, my team and I are also happy to take on smaller projects like decks, fences, bathrooms, and kitchens.

We’re a professional team of hardworking, ethical, and reliable tradies who take pride in delivering high-quality work on time and as agreed. Above all, we stand by our workmanship and attention to detail.

Vakalahi Construction is proudly Māori and Pasifika-owned, and we’re committed to supporting our community through employment, apprenticeships, and working with other values-aligned businesses. We believe in building with purpose — creating homes and spaces that reflect the people who live in them.

As a member of NZCB (New Zealand Certified Builders), you’ll also have my personal guarantee. Our contracts are designed to protect our clients and ensure we’re held accountable to the highest standard of workmanship.
You'll have my personal guarantee as a member of NZCB were our contracts protect our clients and hold myself and team accountable to the quality of workmanship completed.
