Technical Expertise:

With a London City and Guilds Advanced Trades Certificate, plus training in small business management and quantity surveying, Paul Heron is well qualified to oversee all work required by a contract. Paul has over 30 years experience in the building and construction industry, principally managing fit-out and refurbishment contracts with associated co-ordination of diverse trades and services.

He will be assisted by Dylan Carey, who has 16 years experience in fit-outs and related work, and has been Paul’s unconditionally trusted on-site foreman for the past four years.
Paul is very experienced at the supervision of complex and urgent contracts, and has project-managed a number of large, high-profile jobs, including a $1.5 million fit-out project at Westfield Pakuranga and an $800,000 refit of Kelly Tarlton’s Underwater World, Auckland.

With his genuine, hands-on approach, Paul is a very well-liked and respected team leader. It is his policy to carry out continual quality checks on all trades right through the duration of the contract – ‘always; all the time’ – in conjunction with the client. A final and meticulous quality assurance check is done prior to handover.

Paul Heron’s management policy can be summed up as a determination to deliver outstanding levels of customer service and value for money for the client, while achieving the highest standards of workmanship. He takes a special pride in the company’s achievements, and is always more than ready to ‘go the extra mile’, as anyone on his very loyal team of eight will testify. Paul is available 24/7 on mobile, and is one of the most approachable project managers in the business.
