Alteration exterior cladding

In this project our clients were sick of the sight of their bottom storey floor and wanted an updated look to match the top storey weatherboards. The original cladding being asbestos we had organised a specialised subcontractor to demo and takeaway the old cladding. Once opened up we ran into a lot of rot in the external framing to which we replaced everything that was needed including two new double glazed windows. We then wrapped the building in building paper, added in a cavity system allowing the building to breathe a lot better. Finished off with a new weatherboard look with facings to windows and doors scribers cut in and all sealed watertight. Please see photos for references.

Kwila Deck

In this recently completed project, our client wanted to replace the old pine deck out the back with a beautiful Kwila hardwood deck just in time for summer. This deck sits only 350mm above finished ground level, with an old concrete patio being the foundation under the deck. This worked out great for our clients as we were able to save them money by installing a subfloor system with NuraJack. Instead of having to concrete posts in! As well as all new framing underneath and all new bolts, fixings and nails only using stainless steel as it stands the test of time in the elements. We laid 140x19mm smooth kwila decking with 75mm stainless steel bugle head screws. Please see photos for the end result.
