The Tree People are a family owned and managed company established in 2004, based in Woolston, Christchurch, New Zealand.
Our arborists are trained both here in New Zealand and internationally, having worked in locations as far as London, Hamburg, Nepal, Singapore, Australia and USA.
The preservation and maintenance of your trees is our aim. Our goal is to provide an environment in which our customers can enjoy a harmonious relationship with their trees.

They came, they saw, they conquered. I have recently bought a property in Tai Tapu it had a hundred metre row of willows 25 to 28 metres tall blocking out the morning sun and surging over half the back lawn. Ra turned up said how when and how much and completed the job with support from a good bunch of blokes who are all arborists and all seem to enjoy their work. I cut one branch smashed my extension ladder was thrown 6 feet into another tree, it landed on the shed roof then I spent 2 days cutting it up. In approximately 6 days they cut down hundreds of them and lowered them 8 metres plus left me an Everest size pile of chip and little mess. Polite, well mannered and tolerant of my mad dog and myself I can recommend them hand on heart. Reply: Thank you so much for this incredible review and for taking the time to share your experience. First time using the Tree People. Pruned trees, removed trees and trimmed our hedges, all on a hill section. The 3 staff were very polite, very professional and did an outstanding job.
