Stable Masters Cottage

An Architectural Passive house build in Riccarton, where I was the lead builder. I worked closely with the engineer and homeowner and praised for high attention to detail when it featured in Christchurch's Passive Home tours. I worked on construction from foundations to finishings. Finishings included installing Tasmania Blackwood flooring and Pacific Rimu architraves and skirting. Outside features include installing Tripled Glazed timber framed windows from Neuffur and installing a random pattern Cedar Shiplap cladding from box gutters flowing under eves and down the walls, which had six different variations in sizing. Interior features include to vaulted ceilings to off centre skylights in both the living and kitchen areas.
