We have a leak that has appeared in the wall, but we don't know the origin as we have a sloping roof and it could have run down from any point. The water has pooled behind the paint on the wall (we have since burst and drained the bubble). There is a spongy patch in the wall at the top. Finding and fixing the leak point is the priority, and assessing any other damage done - fixing the paint is a secondary concern.
