Floor Repair

We have some dampness in the floor of our bedroom, which appears to be related to the way the deck outside is connected and the fact that the house is built directly on dirt. We are wanting to repair the floor and also look at insulation for the room. After Christmas/in the New Year late Jan would be ideal if available?
