Reseal kitchen window

Hello, Have noticed some water coming into the kitchen through the window. It looks to me that the seal needs redone (see photos) but could be flashings or something else entirely. Window is single glazed aluminium. Ask is to a)diagnose and b) fix the issue. We are located in island bay.
