Repair water damage

There is a leak in the toilet area of my bathroom. My plumber has looked at the problem and says it is not a simple leak repair as there seems to be quite a bit of general damage and I need a builder as soon as I can get one. Now I don't know if I should even continue to use my toilet or get a portaloo until the issue can be sorted. So I think my first step is to have a builder look at the extent of the problem so I can understand how much work is involved. I can then work with a builder to schedule the work.
