ESSENTIAL - Refixing exterior wooden cladding and waterproofing balcony

The house is an older wooden villa. There is an ornamental balcony with a bay window underneath. The top of the balcony has a poly waterproof sheathing on top. Today a piece of the wooden trimming came away from underneath the window., exposing the internal bit of the house to the elements. We need to get this fixed as soon as possible. It looks like it came away because of water coming through the waterproof cladding and softening the wood so this will also need to be fixed but this is less urgent.
