Water ingress - subfloor

Following a period of heavy rain in Wellington we noticed water ingress to an area of our house. Our insurer sent an assessor to take a look, and it appears that a likely cause is water flowing downhill from the road through the subfloor. We would like someone to inspect the relevant area, give us their views on remediation, and hopefully undertake the remediation work. (Unfortunately the relevant area of the subfloor is difficult to access - I have attempted it myself and haven't got anywhere near the problem area.)
