Job description

Joint & Window Sealing
Wellington

Published: 1 January 2014

We have just submitted plans to council for some alterations to an existing 1960's house. We are looking for quotes to undertake the first stage of the project- digging out (aprox 12 cubic metres required to be excavated and left on site), supplying and installing drainage materials, supplying and installing tanking, supplying and installing reinforcing steel, and supplying and installing concrete (sprayed seems to be the best option) to underpin and extend an existing concrete ring foundation. There are two areas requiring this work as shown in the attached drawings- one corner with a 3.2m x 3.7m corner, and a separate 3.7m section at the other end of the building. Ideally I would like one contractor to undertake the whole job from start to completion. The location is Buckley Rd, Southgate, Wellington. Access is down ~40 steps, and concrete will need to be pumped down hill from the road aproximately 20 meters. I have the engineered and architectural drawings for the concrete work required, some of which I have attached. If you could please provide a quote for the services listed above, and an indication of your availability to do this work, ideally shortly after consent is issued (mid-Jan), I would be appreciative.
