The inside of the brick wall has always been a bit damp but lately water has started pooling in from the outside. There is a 1m path that can be used to get to the worksite. A shed has been removed and the Body Corp have agreed to just have the trenching done along the wall of our apartment (14m). The interesting news is that under the shed was a false floor with concrete panels. We’ve left them as they lie and have included pictures. The other interesting news is that behind the shed, the wall is bare brick and in the middle it the sealed up window. It has wood out to the brick and then it is overlayed by galvanised flat iron. We will need the window sealed properly and the wall plastered. Where the shed was is quite a hole in the ground and it should be able to hold any soil dug up. I am about to get the tree and the large stump removed next week and I’m keen to get the trenching done before Christmas. I'd like a quote for : [1] trenching and tanking the building for the 14M of our apartment [2] sealing the window properly and plastering the wall. Please refer to the pictures

Lovely guy - great sense of humour. Certainly seemed to know what he was doing. End result was great although it didn't end up fixing the problem. It seems there is some sort of spring or aquifer that we will have to deal with in the future.
