Find and fix rain leaks around windows on ground floor of old villa

We have a few leaks in our --- house. The rear patio doors let water in from the top on windy, rainy days, sometimes in large amounts. We just can't see where it's getting in. Two side windows in the same room also let in water when the wind is on them; one, it's pretty easy to see where the water gets in but the other is again a mystery. We need someone who's good at leak detective work :-) Photos show rough areas where we see water coming in (two photos show patio doors, red circles showing leaks right up at the top; another photo shows old, from-before-we-moved-in bubbling around lower left corner of side window, but the leak seems to come in from over to the right; final one shows where leaks seem to come in through the frame and run down the inside of the glass).
