Window Seal/Catch replacement

I have a house with aluminium windows where the rubber seals have shrunk in the windows so there is a gap and this is letting in rainwater. Also a number of the handles on the windows need replacement too. Half of the house is easily accessible while the other half is over a long drop, highest point is probably about 2/3 floors in height. I understand the seals need to be replaced on both the inside and outside of the window so some scaffolding will be required, while I also want the handles replaced as well.
