Damp diagnosis and remedy

We have an isolated patch of damp in the bottom corner of the bathroom wall (interior, perpendicular to exterior wall) and looking to get a quote for diagnosis and likely repair costs. Not time sensitive, but looking to get it resolved before winter. 1940s wooden house.
