As for the total costs of getting your tiling work done, if you are looking at removing existing indoor tiled flooring then you can expect to pay between $730 and $1,200 for 15 square metres of flooring. What sort of qualifications should my tiler have?

Before you hire a tiler, make sure to do a little background check on them. Ask for photos of previous work that they’ve completed, ask for references to call, check their feedback score on Builderscrack, and give them a quick Google.

Some tilers may have received a qualification through completing the National Certificate in Floor and Wall Tiling, which is a three-year apprenticeship program ran by the Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation, whereas other tiling contractors have simply obtained experience on the job.
