Get EPA Consent from AKL Council for connecting to City Stormwater

Our Green Bay home is not currently connected to Auckland city Stormwater system. We are looking at concreting our driveway, doing some excavation work, adding in drainage around our property, and connecting to AKL Stormwater system. Council have advised we are able to access an existing public stormwater line which runs out the front of our property and are required to lodge an EPA through council to do so. EPA must include plans drawn up by a registered engineer. Council have also advised that any private drainage work within the property will require a building consent.
