Assessment for insurance

We had some minor flooding out in the yard and close to the house which has resulted in an insurance claim. I'm looking to have a professional come and tell me if my hypothesis is correct or if something else is responsible. Really trying to get out ahead of the insurance assessor, can talk about the job online or in person.
