Renovation/Alteration

Hello, we are looking at remodelling our upstairs layout to add in and extra bathroom or two. We are thinking of splitting Study in half to create an ensuite for Bedroom 4. The other half of the Study will become an extension to the adjacent W/C to create another bathroom. There is currently a W/D in the study adjacent to the W/C. To achieve the above we will need to remove the wall (including the wardrobe) that is between the Study and W/C and also open a door sized opening in the wall between Study and Bedroom 4. We are worried that these are load bearing walls and will require consultation and architectural plans for building consent. The property is a 1970’s Lockwood home. Kind regards Charlie
