Structural Engineer

I want to remove a few piles from my basement and install a steel beam in order to create an open plan area which I can then concrete. The max span I am looking at is ~7.5 meters. But if absolutely required I could have one pile remaining so that I would have 2 spans one on ~5m and one ~ 3m. I want a structural engineer to look at the situation and advise, and if we proceed, to do that calculations for a building consent applictaion etc.
