topographical survey residential section

We have a 696 sqm section in central suburbs with traditional villa. Largely flat site. Need topographical survey prior to building plans for small renovation/lean-to replacement being done. The age of the underlying survey plan, believed to be 1882 seems likely to be hard to read.There apparently have been no new surveys adjacent to adjacent properties but neighbour did large addition 6 years ago.
