Hi Team, Need a quote on removing a few cement stairs and build a couple new stairs where you have removed the stairs. We looking at 5 cement stairs at the most. The Photo with the cross those stairs I want to remove and place stair that goes out straight.. Could someone make contact if you up to the job? thank you Cornelia

Staircase - external #2

External timber staircase needs updating. The metal structure under the staircase is solid however the timber could do with replacing as well as the structure at the top of the stairs should be updated. We are not wanting to extend or create anything bigger than what's there so that we can avoid the consent procedure. Recommendation to ensure All fitted tight #2

Hand rails built to original standards of period built but likely do not meet current NZS3604 Height restrictions. Because they are period correct they are considered compliant . We have received recommendation to up-grade to new standards for added protection.

New timber external stairs

Hi there, anyone able to quote a new set of external timber stairs from a second level deck down to a ground level deck. Measurements are as follows 5/6 meters length and 2.7/3 meters high. Im unsure as to what rises would be but those are the measurements taken.

Staircase replacement & Wall move

Our house had a 2nd level added in the 1990s (originally built 1926), the owners at the time appear to have put in a reclaimed staircase from a villa. They are narrow and steep in a large hallway. Unfortunately, there is a steel beam in the way of simply replacing them with a compliant set of stairs. We need a replacement staircase solution that will avoid the beam and not impact the 2nd level too much or the aesthetics of the downstairs hallway. A spiral staircase is not a preference. Photos...

Back door step repair

Safety rails

Handrails are required at the back steps. 3 steps over a 65cm rise between concrete drive and wooden verandah on both sides. Hand grip is to comply with building code profile. Clumsy or cowboy possibilities need not apply

Interior Staircase Handrail Install

We are wanting an interior staircase handrail installed. The total length of railing would be approximately 3m (if placed on the RH side wall when coming up from the bottom and the LH wall when reaching the top). Length would be less if it curved around the existing balustrade instead. Please see the photos attached for reference.

Exterior Stairs

Require the build/installation of an exterior staircase from existing second level deck to front yard. Would prefer timber finish to match deck, with aluminium/steel frame. Unsure on layout due to limitations of angle from deck to ground level, which would require a site visit to assess.

PROBLEM SOLVER

I have just had two shoulder operations and cant carry groceries up my outside stairs. Need handyman to come up with an idea using electric pulley system to get groceries up. Can anyone help? ANYONE INTERESTED IN HELPING ME?. You would need to come and look at stairs.
