Staircase - external #2

External timber staircase needs updating. The metal structure under the staircase is solid however the timber could do with replacing as well as the structure at the top of the stairs should be updated. We are not wanting to extend or create anything bigger than what's there so that we can avoid the consent procedure. We are keen to just update what's there but also keen to keep on the right side of the building laws so advice in this regard will be necessary. I'm looking for someone that can do max a few days of work this side of Christmas. Many thanks.
