Staircase replacement & Wall move

Job description

Staircase Repair
Papakura

Our house had a 2nd level added in the 1990s (originally built 1926), the owners at the time appear to have put in a reclaimed staircase from a villa. They are narrow and steep in a large hallway. Unfortunately, there is a steel beam in the way of simply replacing them with a compliant set of stairs. We need a replacement staircase solution that will avoid the beam and not impact the 2nd level too much or the aesthetics of the downstairs hallway. A spiral staircase is not a preference. Photos attached of looking down staircase and one of hallway space. Additionally, we have a non-load bearing wall in the master bedroom which separates a walk through wardrobe, which is too narrow against the eves. We would like the wall moved forward to create more space. The current wall has power outlets in it. We are available Wednesday evenings or weekends for an initial consultation. One of us works near by for further discussions.

Really pleased with Jarrod's communication and his team's workmanship. Price was higher than quoted but this is due to timber stock delays over covid so to be expected. We would use Jarrod and his team again - highly reccomend.
