Build stairs off deck and install children's slide

We would like to install another set of stairs off our deck with a children's slide installed next to it. The height of the deck varies due to the gentle slope of the garden, but at the lowest point (where we'd image the slide to go) is approx 1.4m H. The max height of the slide is 1.2m so we'd imagine this would need some feet at the bottom or a simple step down platform at the top. Attached are photos as reference. Link to slide here: --- ---

The external staircase leading into our rental property is "joined" to the balcony by what appears to be two thick steel plates/brackets (see photos). These brackets are rusty and I'd like them replaced. It might involve having a steel machinist make new brackets? They are approx 250mm x 50mm in size. Unsure of thickness or exact shape. New handrail made with 12mm dia vertical wrought iron at 83mm centres (equally spaced. 3 per tread) with traditional feature in every 6th balustrade and matching into the newel post  (all verticals welded to baseplate). Top rail is slim/ rounded matai timber (TBC) hand grip rebated out and fixed on top of brackets, finish sanded smooth, oiled with danish wood oil to a high sheen.
