Overflow on gutter needed.

With the storm on Friday, we've had some overflow flooding from the gutter/spouting. It's been recommended by a builder that and overflow is needed to stop this from happening in the next heavy rainfall. We believe the overflow is due to the narrow soffit above the ensuite area where the spouting wasn't able to handle the volume of water and easily travelled over the narrow soffit and down the inside of the wall. We're hoping that by adding one or two overflows we can avoid this happening again . . .
