Roof and soffit maintenance. maybe a good day's work for one or two guys.

I have a prepainted longrun iron roof which is in good order but displaying quite a few rusting nails.I am concerned that this rust may migrate to the iron roof and so I need advice re nail replacement or whatever.The roof is single story, medium pitch..I user to walk around on it quite happily, but i'm getting a bit older now. Second job, or maybe continuation of the roof job ------- I want my soffit painted, also to suppress the rusty nailheads that are starting to appear.
