Leak - find source, location & repair

I have a new leak in my kitchen by the main window. I can't find the actual leak, but I can smell it after rain. Previously I have fixed both window and decramastic roof tile leaks at this location. However, I am unsure if the roof or the window is the source in this instance. Because I can no longer access the ceiling or the roof to check, due to disabilities. I am a one-story townhouse with an easy-to-access decramastic roof in poor condition. Recently - gutter shingle run-off tested negative for asbestos.
