Masonry Tiled Roof req. Replacement

The tile has been repainted at some time in the past but now the paint is peeling & flaking off. The tile surface beneath the paint is eroded & has an exposed aggregate type of finish which causes the tiles to absorb excessive amounts of water. During the damp winter months & especially during periods of prolonged wet or damp weather the tiles most likely reach their saturation point & drip water into the ceiling space making the ceiling space cold & damp. (an extract from a recent report)
