Leaking corrugated iron garage roof across two single garages

A relative has a leaking roof. The garage was full of water on Friday and we need an assessment for insurance if wear and tear rather than storm damage. I suspect it will not be an insurance claim as it has leaked for many years and my relative has done nothing. We cannot see what the roof is like and I do not believe that anyone has looked at it. I can only assume that sections of the iron will need to be replaced. As you can see there is plaster damage that would be great to also replace but the roof is a must to repair. The other garage owner lives in Wellington and the flat is rented so we may have to pay for both so I am hoping it is not too much.
