Job description

Repair Tin & Coloursteel
Christchurch

Published: 22 August 2022

The roof leaked during the heavy windblown rain in late July. There is a Velux in the top storey, but the leak was coming out lower down the roof. Water came in through some ripped building paper. Possibly water came in under the Velux (faces SW) then ran down the paper and out the torn building paper hole into the bottom storey roof space (accessible). The rubber seal around the toilet vent has split and needs replacing. The roof has moss / lichen on it, so removing this and any other recommended maintenance is required if you can offer this. The leak is the primary issue to repair. I am home on 31st August, (other times by arrangement), would suit great of you need to come and have a look

Great job, Vinnie is good to deal with and keeps his word regarding timing. The leak appears to be fixed, flashings and ridge capping checked / sealed. The moss is starting to come off the roof and the vent pipe seal fitted well. Thanks Vinnie
