Job description

Concrete Tile Repair & Pointing
Auckland

Published: 22 July 2024

Calling all roofers! We have had a sudden roof leak that needs urgent repair. Last week, rain suddenly started dripping from the ceiling and out through a light fixture in our kitchen. We immediately called our emergency home response service who came out to assess and temporarily repair the leak (they have performed a temporary repair by going into the roof crawl space and applying silicone to the nail tile gap from the inside). They also took down the sealed LED light from the ceiling GIB, so that the roof could dry. It is currently hanging by two cables and if possible we would like this to be pushed back in as well. The emergency home response tradesperson said that the rain was coming through a nail hole on the roof, so not a huge job, looking to get it fixed up ASAP (possibly by replacing the tile nail and putting silicone in the gap from the outside of the roof or by replacing the tile if its cracked) before we get hit with any more bad weather. We don't have a photo of the area that needs repair (We have a two-storey property) but the photo I have attached is to demonstrate what our concrete tiles look like. Please do get it contact if you can help us out this week, we are based in Mount Roskill. Thanks!
