Kitchen sink mixer makes honking sound

I have a Kitchen sink mixer. When I use the cold water only it makes a honking sound that appears to be due to water pressure. This does not occur anywhere else in the house. There is a filter under the sink. It appears to be getting worse and slowing cold water flow down. The hot water is not affected. I have attached a picture of the piping under my sink.
