Indoor -> Outdoor hot water upgrade

We would like to replace our very old indoor low pressure cylinder (135L) with an outdoor mains pressure one (~180L). We have room under the house, with decent access, so would prefer to place somewhere there if possible. Photos show the area. I'm not sure how much clearance and area prep is needed but I imagine somewhere in the dug out area in the last couple pictures would be easiest. The current hot water cylinder is on the top floor in the centre of the house, and is connected to a kitchen, a bathroom and the garage all on the lower floor. You can see where they connect in the back of the last picture. We are planning to do a reno soon and were going to hold off until then, but our current cylinder is starting to fail so need to do this part early. Because of that we would like to avoid doing anything that is going to have to be redone anyway in a couple months, like changing any plumbing within the walls, but we might not have a choice.
