Waste water pump issue

We have a sleepout with an ensuite bathroom which sits at a lower level than our septic tank so the toilet and waste water relies on a pump to pump it up to the septic tank. It appears this pump is not working properly because the toilet is not flushing and water has back flowed into the shower. Unsure if a fault or just clogged? Photo attached of pump box behind toilet. Also the water pressure in the basin and shower is very poor. I think this has something to do with an underbench water heater. Photo attached. Again not sure if a fault or just clogged filters. We are on tank water so we do get a bit of grit in the water that can clog filters quite quickly. We would also like a recommendation on replacing the toilet. This would become a second job.
