Patch up two small apertures left after removal of a built in electric heater.

I need a small job done. Our electrician has removed a small built-in electric heater which was located in the wall between our lounge and dining room. We do not propose to replace this heater but need to gib and plaster a small hole on each side of the wall measuring about 180mm by 150mm.,
