Internal bathroom ceiling

We have a small bathroom (2x2.5M) that requires a sanding of the current ceiling (jib) as the wrong paint was initially applied. It’s become water damaged and has mold. Or potentially may need to be replaced (re-jibbed) and re-painted. Photos attached of where I’ve attempted to sand myself (but that’s some hard work!). Mold appears superficial but needs to be removed
