The house is a Category 1 Heritage listed building and was the former residence of Tibor Donner, Auckland's fist appointed City Architect. It was built in 1947 and is considered to be one of the country's finest examples of 'Modernist' architecture. The house was last painted approx. 15 years ago using an all Resene system , and now needs to be re-painted. The cladding is vertical rebated board, soffits are cementitious panel, window joinery is all cedar, roof barge is galvanised metal sheet painted. You may wish to price this with your favoured scaffold company, or accept prices I am getting independently.
